Biomimicry is the next revolution in sustainable technology developments, however, much can be achieved by emulating not only models and structures but also process and interactions that are critical to the robustness of the natural ecosystem. Evolution and co-evolution processes play a significant role in the developments of sustainable and robust natural ecosystems. When using the natural ecosystem as a model, we can improve the interactions among the various stake holders of the businesses ecosystems to gain a continuous growth and effective co-creation in in the business ecosystem. The proposed lecture will illustrate the analogies between the natural ecosystem and the business ecosystem with highlighting the pros and cons of each co-evolution form.
